Laser surgeries
Doctors are using laser procedures to close off smaller varicose veins especially on the upper body and the face. Laser treatments can also effectively treat varicose veins in the legs.
Laser surgery works by sending strong bursts of light onto the vein, which makes the vein slowly fade and disappear.
There are several types of lasers that can be used to treat varicose veins and spider veins on the legs and face (yellow light lasers, green light lasers, and other intense pulsed light systems).

i have been operated on for varicose veins, the type of operation was stripping and tying but that was 6/7 years ago(Nigeria) my problem now is that am still having problem with my legs.At times my healed ulcer will just breakdown and start allover again. Not of recent, i had a bad experience which resulted in lose of blood. One of the place that was cut on leg during the surgery had a small opening and blood started coming out of it.
