If you experience varicose veins, make sure you get some things straight before putting your health and that of your legs in the hands’ of some practitioner. Ask them about their experience in treating this disease, and if their main specialty is vein disease treatment. Do not forget to ask them if they use ultrasound to determine the extent of your vein disease, beyond those that are visible as well as ultrasound imaging while treating you. Ask what areas will they be treating and how many sessions will there have to be. Make sure you are well informed and well treated.

Have you wondered what is the main reason why a little less than half of women develop varicose veins? Although the causes are usually of hereditary nature, most women suffer from this condition after having had children. Why? Because of the pressure the womb has on the veins. Though not proven yet, it is also considered that this condition is more common for those standing for a longer period. Either way, there are treatments.
